Please note: per your contract, third-party inspection reports are not accepted and will be denied.

Emergency Service

A warranty emergency is an event or situation related to the home's performance that creates an imminent threat of serious damage to the home or results in an unsafe living condition.

Emergency service is needed when there is:

  • A plumbing leak that requires shutting off the main supply
  • A sewer back-up
  • A total loss of heating and/or cooling (HVAC) — both units if a two-HVAC house

If you experience a warranty emergency, click a service category below and contact the appropriate contractor. After contacting the contractor, please fill out the form below to inform the UnionMain Homes Customer Care team about your emergency.

AC & Heat Support

Vis Viva Energy & Service — 770-755-1466 — warranty@visvivaenergy.com (main number covers normal service and after-hours emergency).

Examples of Emergency: total loss of AC/Heat or any type of leak. If two systems are installed and only one is not working, this will not be considered an emergency.

Appliances

Appliances are covered under warranty for 1 year from date of close.

Electrical

Examples of Emergency: total loss of power, or power loss to AC/Heat.

Plumbing

Examples of Emergency: total sewer blockage, total loss of water, gas odor, a leak that cannot be controlled at shutoff, and loss of hot water.
