Emergency Service
A warranty emergency is an event or situation related to the home's performance that creates an imminent threat of serious damage to the home or results in an unsafe living condition.
Emergency service is needed when there is:
- A plumbing leak that requires shutting off the main supply
- A sewer back-up
- A total loss of heating and/or cooling (HVAC) — both units if a two-HVAC house

AC & Heat Support

Examples of Emergency: total loss of AC/Heat or any type of leak. If two systems are installed and only one is not working, this will not be considered an emergency.

Electrical

Examples of Emergency: total sewer blockage, total loss of water, gas odor, a leak that cannot be controlled at shutoff, and loss of hot water.
